Danny Kaleva born as Charles Watkins JR in Indianapolis, IN. As a young child he became a fan hip hop by watching his older cousins, and uncles freestyle who would often encouraged him to join in on a cypher. With undeveloped skills, Danny Kaleva taught him self how write and memorize rhymes so he wouldn’t get the feeling of embarrassment during a freestyle performance.

While high school he operated under the name chuck diesel, and began to take music more seriously as he met long Term producer friend Ca$h Fargo who sold him his first beat, Danny Kaleva begun to buy studio equipment to record music, and eventually gaining
notoriety in some regional publications. Student of the industry Danny Kaleva understood he
needed to stand out and become more marketable, after research he took upon the name Danny Kaleva, Daniel which is a Hebrew name; meaning judge, and Kaleva meaning hero. 2011 was the birth of Danny Kaleva and the death of Chuck Diesel soldier at war was the first official mixtape release from Danny Kaleva.
